After approximately twenty years as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, Pastor Ruth completed a Master of Divinity degree at Andover Newton Theological School in 2002. Prior to entering seminary, she served as a youth minister for several years and this unique ministry remains close to her heart.
In addition, Pastor Ruth’s experience has included interim parish ministry, hospital chaplaincy and ministry with families of prison ministry. She served for three years on the Advisory Board for Spiritual Care at the Strafford County House of Corrections and currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Family Reception Center at SCHOC.
Pastor Ruth and her husband Bill live in the church parsonage, just down the street from the church. She is also blessed to be stepmother to three remarkable young men.
Pastor Emeritus is Hubert Topliff.
